Anyone know where to get that plastic harness that the 3 wires fit into?

I'm at work so I can't hear the video, but isn't that the plug for the hazard lights and door lock buttons?

Yes the top plug I believe is for the hazards. but the bottom 3 wires (that use to go into a plug- but that plug disentegrated when I removed the trim piece) I think may control the heat/cool lever?

Not sure, and if I am right. Why do we even have a lever for heat/cool when the knob for heat / cool is on the heating and cooling panel in the middle of the dashboard.

There should be 2 plugs. One goes to the hazards and one goes to the door locks/DTC. I'm guessing you are looking at the wires for the locks/DTC that have been pulled out of their harness and are just hanging loose.

If it's for the dtc/locks, than that sucks. Cause that plastic plug that was on these 3 wires crumbled when I removed this piece of dash.

Longstanding BMW feature - a 2nd temperature control just for the vent air; with this, in the wintertime you can have the heat on but cooler air blowing on your face, so you don't fall asleep

The connector is for the "Temperature distribution potentiometer" - both the hazards, and the central door lock, are on the other connector.

I got the above information from WDS.
O wow, thanks Mashman . I will look into this info. Thank you
