Physical car vs order (and plate change)
Would you expect a price for a car in stock at dealer to be more / less than ordering equivalent, I'm talking about something not too common e.g. 4 series GC, as opposed to something more common like 116' s which they often have loads of in stock.
Also a reduction if registering this month before plate change ? Rob

Guess it depends on options, deals is it pre registered etc and so do you get a higher apr if on pcp etc?
I was looking at pre reg cars initially but the higher pcp apr rates and deals that could be had meant I was better off buying new. I would certainly want to pay less on a pre reg car compared to a new order. |

Car is new and unregistered, so I would be first owner, but dealer keen on sale this month.
Only negative is not having new car feeling with laterst plate in 3 weeks ? and trade in value of mine less next month ?

I'd be amazed if a BMW dealer hasn't hit his pre plate change numbers well before this time.
As you say, negatives are no new car feeling and future value. Only you can place a value that. Me - I would wait. There will always be a deal next month. |

You may get an even better deal late in March - and the new car feel too - but you run the risk of everyone wandering in when new regs are released and taking pick of the stock cars... |
