Dude, you're killing it with your posts. These are all things I've wanted detailed photos of (the display key... and all the other stuff in your G12 post -- sky lounge, etc.). Thanks for sharing it all with us.

Despite people here claiming it's too big and useless, I ordered a display key with my car anyway. Sure, some of the capabilities are also available via the app for iPhone (which I use), but there's some other cool stuff like maintenance, etc. that the phone doesn't cover.

One question -- does the key look ridiculous in your pocket? Do you even carry it in your pocket?

If you ordered with the display key option, do you only get 1 display key and 1 regular key, or 2 display keys?

Display key is bigger than other regular key - but I got the leather key holder from BMW for it. I do carry it in my pocket - but put it in the wireless inductive charging pocket in center arm rest when driving.

You get one display key, one regular key, and the metal part of another regular key (the part you would not give to the valet of the regular key).

Also note: regular key is set up as driver one and the display key is set as driver two. You can't change this.

I heard someone else on the forums say they carry both the regular key and display key while driving. No need to ever do that.
