Turbo Install Kit
So finally got my turbo's from Hexon due to some miscommunication though I didn't end up with the installation kit. So I'm trying to have my local shop order the parts needed but BMW wholesale are being idiots. So I did a quick comparison between what RB has listed in the kit and what Hexon does which only further left me with questions.
Both Hexon and RB seem to agree on these parts: Item: Part Number: Quantity Price: Sub Total Description ASA-STUD BOLT 11127593376 16 0.43 6.88 Turbo To Cylinder Head Studs GASKET 11537545302 1 12.36 12.36 Inlet Water Pipe Oval O-ring O-RING 11427558936 4 3.34 13.36 Turbo Water Line/Oil Inlet O-ring O-RING 11427563453 2 3.24 6.48 Oil Pipe Outlet O-ring FLANGE NUT 18407502196 16 2.4 38.4 Turbo to Cylinder Head Flange Nuts GASKET 11422246091 2 0.97 1.94 Oil Pipe Outlet Gasket GASKET RING 11627558906 6 4.62 27.72 Turbo to Cylinder Head Gasket CLAMP* 11657558922 2 5.42 10.84 Charge Pipe to Turbo Clamp Converter Front* 11657620508 2 17.6 35.2 Down Pipe to Turbo Clamp O-RING 13717568030 2 5.36 10.72 Charge Pipe To Turbo O-ring GASKET 18307553601 2 16.11 32.22 Downpipe to turbo gasket GASKET RING 13717568029 1 10.15 10.15 Rear Intake Tube Replacement Gasket GASKET RING 13712247398 1 12.02 12.02 Front Intake Tube Replacement Gasket Exhaust manifold Gasket 18307553603 2 16.34 32.68 Downpipe to Catback Gasket (*) these items Hexon said I wouldn't need if my car was stock. Any truth behind that? Only Hexon had this and not being a mechanic I have no real idea what this is for: Item: Part Number: Quantity Price: Sub Total Description VACUUM HOSE 11727545323 1 13.52 13.52 Only RB had these (everybody says to replace the oil lines and thats what I'm assuming these are but I could be wrong): Item: Part Number: Quantity Price: Sub Total Description 11427562797 1 43.9 43.9 Oil Pipe Inlet Front Turbo 11426573713 1 53.17 53.17 Oil Pipe Outlet Front Turbo 11427562798 1 56.25 56.25 Oil Pipe Inlet Rear Turbo 11427562800 1 56.92 56.92 Oil Pipe Outle Rear Turbo Basically. HELP. what the hell do I actually need |

You buy this complete kit from ecs and save money over piceing it together.
https://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E92-33...Kit/ES2628682/ We recently installed my friends Hexon rr550's at the shop I work at and used this kit. It has everything you should need. |

The oil feed/supply and coolant feed/supply lines that you say RB only has is OEM Bmw parts. Those are the oil lines people are referring to. The Oil supply lines and coolant lines are more of a precautionary measure to replace. Many like to replace it while you're in there for the peace of mind but if your mechanic is a good mechanic and takes brake cleaner and cleans the old ones out then you should be more than fine using the old ones. On my first set of VTT's I reused them, second reused them then my mechanic and I agreed it was time to replace because it was my third turbo set with Hexons. So if they're in good working order and are on a $$ scrunch, use the old ones. If $$ doesn't matter replace if you want. For what it's worth, they are really hard to replace if they end up having a leak so I'd say replace them

As for the vacuum hose I HIGHLY suggest replacing that while you're doing the turbo swap. Don't buy the oem Bmw type hose, it sucks IMO. I switched to silicone hose and was referred to this
http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/...ld-by-the-Foot Make sure you buy the 3.5mm size, buy roughly 15-20ft and choose which ever color. Or you can find a local shop with 3.5mm silicone hosing. These vacuum hoses connect your wastegates to the vacuum canisters and boost solenoids and engine. Same thing with these, they're only $15 for the 15-20ft and is a HUGE peace of mind to have no leaks

Like others have said, buy the ecs installation kit. Not the bmw installation kit as that is pricey. Oil lines and coolant lines are optional. If yours look good and no cracks or sign of wear, clean them inside and out with brake Cleaner and compressed air. Mine ended up looking brand new even tho the car had 88k when I was doing the turbos
