MHD backend with Procede??

Anyone using currently running a Procede piggyback stacked with a MHD flash? I am currently using a Procede piggyback with an OFT (i know, out dated lol) but they function fine. Is there a way to backend flash with the MHD while using a procede? I feel like that would be much more convenient than using the OFT.

Awesome, glad to hear that! Will the MHD gauges work while using the procede? Or does it have to be in map 0 like when using the OFT?

I am pretty sure the procede hogs the canbus in any map other than map 0.....so the gauges probably wont be compatible.

If you are not running a meth kit integrated with the procede.....then there is no reason to use the procede.

A flash solution like MHD will control everything directly and more effeciently.

I currently run a custom backend flash with the procede - and it works great. But if I wasn't running a meth kit, I would ditch the procede since it would be redundant to use both and just adds more complexity.

I have the procede flex fuel kit which makes it really hard for me to rip it out and switch to something else. The flex fuel kit makes it very convenient when running e85. But at the same time the MHD flasher looks badass and more convenient when switching tunes... can't have the best of both worlds i guess lol

Oh....OK then, that makes sense to keep the procede.

I used tunerpro to create a custom backend flash that has many of the same table changes as the popular flashes available from tuners.

I then used OFT to upload it to my DME.

Runs quite well except for a small boost wobble when procede boost control takes over from the flash......but at least it runs my meth kit.

Which tune did you upload with your OFT? The one's that came with the OFT originally?

I have an e50 tune made from wedge that I uploaded with the OFT. The tune makes great power (430whp/490wtq), but I feel like I'm missing out on some of cool new tuning features offered by the MHD or even the JB4. I guess ill just have to deal with it for a while, maybe ill get separate tunes made on an MHD and bounce back and forth when I want. If I could make that much power on a 93 map I would switch in a heartbeat lol

Alright so long story short bringing this thread back, car is running meth which is partially controlled by the procede and is why I don't want to get rid of it. I'd rather leave all of this alone and be able to flash mhd maps and etc, but I'm not sure if it's possible or if they can work simultaneously. I could always set up the aquamist kit I have to run stand alone, but have no idea if that would be simple or not to do.. I've worked as a tech for bmw and realized that with cars running piggy back systems certain things could not be performed with our diagnostic software because of the piggy back even in map zero from what I remember. Now I'm thinking the same issue would occur with mhd since the procede takes over the bus system essentially. I guess what the hell do I do for simplicity sake? Try mhd and see if it works and find out the hard way if both system can opporate together? I have a feeling that if it's possible that without a doubt the mhd software being connected live will likely not work for example when connected to a tablet to data log or view live data. I guess my questions is what the heck do I do? I need to be able to run meth since there is only one gas station in my area that carries ethanol and would like to switch to mhd because I believe it's the way to go. I don't want to switch over to a jb4 at all so that's not an option. I really hope whoever it is that came up with the mhd software or someone else knowledgable can chime in and help me out and would the solution I mentioned be best for me? Thanks in advanced! I'm sure I'm over complicating things, but I have my what would Jesus do bracelet on standby before I start tearing into this 475hp animal that is running just fine at the moment to help me get through this lol.

Holy crap sorry for the wall of text, need the help though, don't want to start a new thread. I'm sure others are in the same boat and I want this to be used as a reference for them in the future!
