Definitely a fifth or sixth car for the wealthy enthusiast. As a huge bmw fan there are quite a few other cars I would want before this, but if I could afford to have them and the m4 gts, it is an awesome car that I would love to have!

I guess what I am saying is its not my first choice in this price range, but I am definitely glad bmw is making these special models and bringing them to the US!

Not like I'm on the market or have the means to buy such car, but those seats are what the US model should have for those who want to use a 5 point racing harness just some people have mentioned on the F8x competition package thread.

Are you sure about the roll bar?Canadian cars are getting the bar but we are all getting the North American seats.

Only the seats will be different. The spec sheet at the LA autoshow shows that 134k comes with the clubsport package which includes the roll bar.

No actually, I was basing my response off previous speculation on this forum that the car would follow the same pattern as the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which, if I remember does not get the roll cage in the US but does in Canada. Unless I misremember that, in which case I totally made it up.

Canadian RS's do not come with roll bar standard or as an option.I have one sitting here not 20 feet from my office

There are a bunch of them on ebay.co.uk right now, but they are still overpriced. They should be coming down in price really soon since the physical copies only came out about 2 weeks ago. The first GTS brochure on ebay was listed on ebay.de and sold for 100 euros.
