Thnx to Billfitz, I pulled the trigger

And ordered a new F34 yesterday! Since we are of similar age and "aging complications", haha, his input was very helpful!

On order:
335i GT M-Sport
Estoril Blue
Oyster
Walnut Burl
Cold weather
Dynamic Handling
M-Sport
Driver Assistance (rear view & parking sensor)
Technology Package

Was going for Active Cruise Control and Auto High beams too, but posts here and also input from my CA made me rethink. This will be my 6th BMW. Currently have 2013 F30 Sport line Black Sapphire-Coral red 335i.

On those occasions when I'm in traffic on the highway I wish I had Active Cruise, but regular cruise isn't that bad. I just use the thumb wheel on the steering wheel to adjust the speed up or down to maintain the pace with traffic. Since it both brakes and accelerates it works quite well.

Yep, I do that also. Works fine, and just the occasional use I would have for ACC doesn't justify the $1200 additional cost.

I even use it on an off ramp or merge ramp to slow down, not hitting the brakes until and unless I actually need to stop. On a clover leaf I'll use the cruise to take the speed down and then take it back up again at the on ramp, so I don't touch either the brakes or gas.
