I NEED TO Cover Up Mini-Front Plate Holes
Hi guys,
When i take my number plate off, There's two holes as seen here If i was to cover them up and try make it look as nice as possible (WITHOUT covering holes and RESPRAYING THE WHOLE BAR) What would you guys recommend? Would my best option be to buy something like this and have it colored Alpine White if my cars AW? |

First thing you need to do is track down who did that and drill holes into them. Second thing you need to do is take it to a body shop or something. I'd want it to be the way it was from the factory.

Did you tell your dealer no front plate? Had a car a while back that they drilled holes after being told not to, they reimbursed me for repair. Otherwise I'd say an EU plate would look better than plugs.

They sell plugs that come prepainted, so those are your best bet.
If you google bumper plugs you can find them, the URL is blocked on the forum. They could be bondo'ed and locally touched up, but that requires body work.

I have this same problem right now with my car - except four holes
I just looked at the bimmian ones and they look huge - far too noticeable. I'm going to take my car to the body shop and see what they can do for cheap. My car is a lease so I don't feel like dumping $400 into having the bumper patched up and painted... |

Fill with plasit dip? I feel like you could put a temporary backing behind the bumper (treated with something that will release the plasti dip easily), tape off the holes, fill with white plasti dip spray, spray with gloss, and remove backing. Maybe $25-$30 in supplies?

If it were me I'd sand it smooth and be careful not to go too far beyond the holes. $7 bondo bumper repair kit avail at Walmart then Dr. Color Chip over that. You're out less than $50 and the paint can be used for any minor imperfections while you own the car. At the end of the day it's a bumper and it can/will suffer some stone chips, parking taps, etc. so I wouldn't pay $$$$ for absolute perfection, especially considering it's a lease. Fixed a scrape on my front lip that way and it's undetectable unless you know where to look, and even then 90% perfect.
