Bad driver in Range Rover

That is what happened to me in Xmas Eve. I wonder if he/she was sitting too far or too high in RR not paying attention to other drivers. If I didn't slam my brakes RR would have crashed directly into me. The driver didn't even apologised.

I see this sort of driving regularly, indicate and just pull over regardless of other cars

I'm not totally convinced by this, there are a fair few major motorway roundabouts by me that have had their lanes and priority changed that unless you use them regularly you wouldn't have the foggiest which lane to be in until the last second, one in particular is very easy to be confused on.

It could possibly be a bit of both, I don't think it helps that it's a range rover

Yep, pretty much experience that any trip across Wolverhampton.

Some of the roundabout / junctions from where I am to Nuneaton are really crap, lane priority sucks on most of them.

What I have noticed over Christmas is people not changing lanes / 'giving way' to let you move over.

Recognised the road. I used to live just up the road in my bachelor pad...happy days!!!!! Walking distance to Clattys (if anybody remembers it!).

It is bad driving, probably not helped that the road layout round there is awful.

Also not helped by people, who don't know the road, trying to get into the Transport Museum. I saw somebody driving up the wrong side of the road trying to get into the car park.

Tourist!!!!!!

Yes, that is a bit tricky for newcomers but RR driver seemed to know it very well. I drive sometimes the way he did but not cutting corners like that. That would be a lot of space to pull over further ahead and I would even let him in if he was just in front of me.

Oh yes, plus for him for indicating his manouvre

TBH as others have said they did indicate as they rounded the corner so it was obvious what was going to happen, seen it a thousand times you just have to give way as the OP did.

Although a quick flash of the hazards or a hand up in the rear view mirror would have been nice from RR.

He was indicating therefore he has an automatic right to change lanes regardless and you have to get out of the way...... At least that seems to be my experience of other drivers on the roads nowadays. Then ther are those that don't use their indicators on rabs, don't even ge me started on this
