Lightbulb MD/DC/VA performance springs install shop?

Looking for a local shop anywhere in the mid Atlantic to do a spring installation on my M4. They're said to be pretty straight forward with 3.5-4 hrs for the installation time.. Any reputable shop that doesn't to try to rip you off and price gouge bc it's a new M? lol :/

Thanks.

Were you trying to get normal springs or height adjustable installed?

I saw a new M4 getting adjustable coil overs installed at Elite Auto in Laurel. Don't know price. Owner's name is Chris. Let me know price of you use them.

I'd already called Elite and he quoted me $700 just to install my springs only, without even an alignment. Needless to say for a 3.5-4hr job that's straight up price gouging and I'm in search for another shop... there's dozens to choose from in the DMV capable of such an easy job. I'm just working around these stupid holidays which essentially paralyze business activity until they're done so I can actually schedule an appointment and get it done...

I'll let you know whom I end up going with

Dam. Had no idea they were that expensive. Good to know. Though they did quote me a price for a clear bra installation that was in line with other price quotes I got.

Yea, they're mainly a cosmetic shop (car detailing, clear bra installations, vinyl wrapping-(I think). I feel they'd probably be fairly decent to use for those things. And maybe minor mechanical like spring or coilover installs and perhaps intakes & exhaust installs... but I just got the impression I was being charged a high rate because he was charging a new M4 tax, and I am off the street and someone he doesn't know. Had I been a regular client or one of his "boyz" I most assuredly would be charged a more normal rate. I don't do business with places like that... there are BMW specific repair and upgrade shops in the DMV that are very reputable and charge the fair rates to ANYone that walks through the front door... based on the WORK, not person or the kinda car/i.e. money they think they can get out them... $700 for a straight spring install & nothing else from a non certified shop with no BMW rep is laughable..

What about Tech Tuning FS?
http://www.tuningtechfs.com/index.html

I was going to get a baseline dyno pulls there but things came up. I still plan on going however, I'll be back after the holidays.

email kyle@techtuningfs.com and see what he can do

What gets me is that some of the larger shops like EAS and Supreme charge a VERY fair price for install and local DMV shops here want an arm and/or leg. I mean $700 for spring install? GTFO

I haven't lived up there for 5+ years, but when I did RRT was the place to go in northern VA. I know the original crew are gone but its probably worth a call. http://www.rrtptm.com/

I've always used Induktion Motorsports in Severn. You won't find a better rate and the owner Ed is a standup guy
