Norfolk Area Tint Shop?

Does anyone have a Norfolk area tint shop recommendation. I have a '14 335i. Please include the price you paid if possible.

Thanks!

Would you mind sharing what you paid? I assume you had an F30 done?

I was told by coworker that Advanced Glass Tinting is good.

I would suggest looking at places that use high end film, 3M etc., and that are listed on the mfgr website. A quick way to sort out fly by night shops.

Just had my tinting completed by Advanced Glass Tinting this past Friday. Exceptional work and really nice people. I paid about $289 plus tax. They use Llumar products and I bought the higher priced tint that blocks out more heat (CTX). I'm still in the "curing process" of the tint. A few small bubbles remain, but I expect them to dry up soon.

Highly recommended.

I stopped by Atlantic Shoreline a few days ago - have a 440GC coming in Sept. They seem professional, although not terribly enthusiastic 30 minutes before closing on a Friday. They sell 3M...Crystalline is one of the very best from my research.

J's Tinting in Chesapeake also has a good rep. Will be stopping by soon. I'm also interested in recommendations.

I used Millennium in P-Town and I'm not 100% pleased with the work. The cutout for my 3rd brake light is not lined up very well. Overall the car looks good though. I paid 180 for 35% all around. He uses 3M and Llummar. Very small 1 man operation. No frills.

Why not start another thread vs. get this request hidden in a tint thread? Good luck!

I second the Atlantic Shoreline recommendation. I had my '14 328d done with 3M Crystalline as well and it's great. Blocks an absurd amount of heat and comes with a lifetime warranty (fading, etc.). I believe AS is the only 3M certified installer in the area. Price was roughly $450.
