You don't fancy fitting it yourself then?

The guys in the retrofit forum would help if you got stuck.

I think it's fairly plug and play if converting from your non nav system. There's a bit of coding but all you'd need for that is a sub £20 cable and the programs and guides which I can send you.

I'm in NI, and hadn't heard of Campbell Fox?

Didn't believe you that they couldn't have not put contact info on their website, but they haven't!!? Madness!

If you get anywhere with this I'd be very interested!

I'm assuming you don't have the business nav and you have just the basic non-nav 6.5" screen and HU_ENTRY.

You will need:

- 8.8" LCD
- Monitor Cable (Pink to Burgundy), the HU_ENTRY (Burgundy to Burgundy does not work/fit) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Naviga...IAAOSw1vlUtWzR
- IDrive Controller
- NBT Unit (Don't get the NBT-EVO, if you want to generate your own FSC codes)
- Emulator (to enable NAV) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Plug-and-p...wAAOxyHIlTYVyh
- Coding (Add 609, 6NS and 6NR (if you have Apps) to your VO)
- GPS Antenna, most sellers normally will give you this.

In all seriousness it isn't actually quite as plug and play as I thought. It is possible that you just plug it in and most features will work, but if for example the car the pro nav came out of had HK sound system, then you will get no sound in your car until it's coded for your sound system. So little things like that could make it difficult.

Maybe get a coding cable and have a go at coding some features on your car first, if you can get the hang of that then no doubt you could fit the system.

Or find a decent auto electricians near you and ask if they can help.

If you have the HK system, it should work straight away as long as you move the MOST cable from the quadlok to the emulator quadlok. No need to code as you should already have it in your FA.

Seriously, when you plug in the NBT and emulator about 90% will work, even without coding. You'll have to add the 609 and 6NS to your FA, then VO code the NBT. If the NBT is missing time/date etc etc on startup, then you'll need to VO code the KOMBI.
Your biggest issue will be the USB as you'll need to shave the connector and rotate it 180 degrees or buy a new cable if you want preserve the existing connection.

Yea the cheat sheet show all the things possible, depending on what equipment your car has.

Some you can definitely do are: digital speedo, auto start stops remembers if set to on or off, disable seat belt reminder, turn off radio when drivers door opened, set different lights to come on when you unlock the car (welcome lights)
