Did gentle run on A27 and was well into the 30's. Was quite surprised. Then went down to 23 with a few x country blats. Reset for drive up to office - 28.5. So far it's doing better mpg that we get out of M235i!

My 24hr's in one showed around 23-4mpg & that was a bit of everything, A road cruise to work & hooning around, with total mileage around 120-130.

Great car but I had a M135i at the time & to me, it wasn't worth double the £££'s.

Guy. You need to stab the TC button to wake it up as it's all to nanny like with it all on. I found even in the dry it sapped the power massively. Would still like one one day mind.

Keeping the M235i Vert - that's the wife's car! Although she stole this for 30 mins today and came back giggling.

Me, turn off traction control? I would never do something like that....

And yes, I agree it does sap the power but I rather like it because I know wife can't get into trouble. Not sure I'd introduce her to anything else on HM Highways.

More importantly, how's it comparing to the original launch ones you drove?

Well the funny thing is that this is not an LCI car (which is what I wanted) but it is last of non LCI's. Have to say it's massively better than any M3/4 I've driven before. Lorcan's M4 before the RS was fitted was just not nice, wallowing in Comfort and just skittish in Sport. This is completely different - I kid you not.

I'm even convinced on carbon roof now I've seen difference in residuals after a couple of years..... Like my sunroof but it's by no means free once you see how it affects secondhand value!

So cars with a sunroof instead of CF roof are worth considerably less are they? How much?

Doesn't make a difference it seems to final payment but it does make a difference if you want to change out at say 2 years. Insinuation was it was in the thousands not hundreds.
