Snapped Front Grill
Has anybody had the front grill on snap before? When I parked up in a car the other day, I hold a loud bang/ Snap noise. Couldn't figure out what it was putting it down to the handbrake not pulled up properly and dropping down. Today I found the grill snapped I two places, see picture. I'm trying to figure out was it some jealous w&nker or was this the noise I heard the other day.
I have CCTV and could not see any sign of anybody going near my car. I wonder if the dealer would believe me if I asked for it to be replaced under warranty? |

Let me know how you get on. I have a spare set if you are interested as I swapped them for a black set

Mine did this because of an orange light that fell off a van and bounced up in front of me. It seems unlikely it would occur without either hitting something while on the move or somebody with no respect for others' cars.

That can be superglued back together easily, I used poly cement on mine and the glued bit is now stronger than the rest of the plastic!

The grill is 2 pieces anyway. Remove it and see wheher the clip just needs reseating? If its broken, superglue would do the trip as mentioned.

Unfortunately the slates has snapped in multiple places, it seemed like somebody just gave it a kick! Although I just don't know when this could of happened. The bang/snap noise could of been the grill snapping, I reviewed all my cctv and no one has gone near the car apart from me.
Anyway I think I will get black ones to replace them now, was going to anyway but rather not have been forced to change. |

Yeah, hopefully it's simple and the break hasn't cause it to get stuck or something! Knowing my luck it probably has!
