Steinbauer 335d tuning box for sale

I have had this tuning module for 6-7 months and it is a huge difference over the standard car . See Surrey Rolling Road topic, my car with this box performed 353 bhp and ~ 670Nm , engine runs smoother , transmission is quicker also. Car is much faster , specially over 60 mph ,having removed box I can say over 60mph car is terribly slower than it was with box.

The reason why I'm selling is only due to expiry of my warranty (have had only 12 months , bought the car as nearly new that time) and my intension to get the car remapped / part exchanged - end of PCP as well next year.

I can't help with the installation but I'm sure that few people from here will advice on the install (dungaboy and teaston for sure, they helped me as well ) .

List price is over 1300 , I would say bid starts from 549 pounds only.

Offers in private message please.

Hi mate, I currently have the TDI twin channel box. I live in Poole during the week. Be interested to compare the 2 boxes if you get me, if it performs better than my current one I would be interested.

The steinbauer isn't about performing better than the cheapo tuning boxes, the advantage it gives is it doesn't increase the fuel rail pressure or turbo pressure, it doesn't fool the engine & it doesn't make the MPG guage read innacurately.

Cheers for that however my car, my money, my decision . And I'm not interested in the mpg reading inaccurately.

Think there was also a little snobbery in that too. Cheapo boxes

But thanks anyway.

There's no need to get all defensive, I was just explaining the benefits of the Steinbauer/ACS tuning system!

Whatever you want to call those basic type of tuning boxes is up to you, but the fact is they are total crap that I would not put near a decent car.

Not defensive at all. This ain't my first rodeo. You call them what YOU like.! The box I have on currently is spot on. I call it TDI twin channel as that's what it is. No drips, no come backs so I guess I've ruined my near decent car.

Again thank you for your valued opinion. I will keep it in mind...

Any other top tips lol
