My 430d is too fast

I dont know why but this 430d screams!

My 330d and 530d were no where near as fast as this thing. In gear acceleration is blisteringly quick. It feels like a 335d...

due to the weight i thought it would be like my 5 given its only 0.1 faster to 62mph.

Id love to dyno this thing i can see it hitting 280-290 bhp.

I was expecting a F33 to be slow due to its weight!

Nope the modern 330d's are fast, it's reckoned around 270bhp or so.

The 8AT really helps the engine.

Be careful.

You can rearrange your internal organs with the acceleration of a modern diesel.

I had the 8AT on my 530 but this one behaves totally different. The S on the selector acts completely different. My 530 felt breathless in this mode. the 430d is crazy fast. I dont even use the sports option on the drive selector!

Well when it's warmed up, stick to the left and sports+ then use paddles, or just floor it.

Coming out of the M6 toll is fun lol.

I like to call it "deceptively" quick. as I never really feel like I am accelerating quickly, or going too fast. but a quick glance In the rear view mirror or a look at the speedo confirms the true performance of these cars

I've never driven anything faster sadly, but in my limited experience of warm hatches and St mondeo, the latest incarnation of the 30d engine is a belter. Properly quick I'd say.

i have owned 3 6 pot denzels so im what you can call a veteran

245hp and 2012 258hp and a 2015 258hp.

This one is the fastest and not by a small margin either. F33 isnt as light as the coupe or saloon!

What were your old cars (what age/models)? You say a 330d, surely its not much different to your 430d if its the same engine?
I can see that the 530d will feel slower due to the extra weight.
