M3 Radiator Super Soft

When I bought my 2010 M3 it had a cracked fan so I bought a new fan cartridge. No problem, right?

This will be a 30 minute remove and replace job from start to finish.

All was going great until the fan started coming up at a bit of an odd angle, so I ever so gently push the fan back down to get it squared up so I can pull it out when I see coolant spraying into the engine bay.

When pushing the fan assembly back down, the outer edge of the housing BARELY touched the radiator and caused a pin hole puncture in the radiator.

Heads up to anybody doing a fan swap...the radiator is SUPER super thin. I've been working around radiators for 30+ years and have NEVER seen anything this sensitive.
