Performance Rear Spoiler lifting up

Hi all,

My performance rear CF spoiler seems to be lifting up on one side. I guess the glue didn't take too well to the trunk panel. How can I fix this? I'm assuming I have to take the spoiler off, but wasn't the tape in grooves within the spoiler? Would I have to dig out the old tape/glue and somehow insert new strips?

Also, are there specific DIY instructions for the spoiler? My body shop kinda just eyeballed it when they originally put it on.

Yes you will have to dig out the old tape.

use the adhesive remover that was linked. Then clean with the alcohol. Then apply some 3m adhesive promoter.

Alright, so I took the spoiler off and used a razor to get all the old adhesive off & cleaned the surface really well. I applied even an extra amount of adhesive down the middle to make sure it really doesn't lift up now.

Hopefully it stays put for winter now! It was driving me nuts that so much water & dirt/debris(leaves) was getting under my spoiler!
