Painted Rear Valance

I'm thinking of painting the rear exhaust valance piece that is gray, red to color match my car. Has anybody else done this on the m235i?

Thanks in advance!

Did you paint your reflectors? Or are they just removed in that picture? I do like the contrast of the jet black and the white though

Red is one of those colors that needs contrast so I say no. Spend your money on ///M performance side sills they are like 300 bucks.

The 2016's seem to have this rear valance painted gray. I can't make up my mind if it s Mineral Gray which is the color that I'm going with. Our local dealership had a M235i Mineral Gray ragtop there, but they sold it before I could take a real close look. This is one of those changes that BMW didn't tell us about, so does anyone have the answer as to the actual color that BMW is now painting the rear diffuser?

Both, stock 2015 and 2016 have a grey painted rear diffuser as well as the side mirrors.

I have an idea.

You can test out the looks of different colors by spraying painting with PlastiDip. It just peels off like vinyl wrap.

Damn! That jet black looks soooo good! Now I finally made up my mind not to buying m-perf diffuser after ordering a 2 series. I will go for this!
Would you mind asking for more pictures?

+1 My car is red and I would like to see more pics of your painted valence, too.

My 2016 Mineral Grey came with the rear valence painted Mineral Grey. I also have the darker Orbit Grey wheels so the whole car looks "greyed out." I like it.

everyone gonna hate me, but i really dislike when diffuser painted body colour looks a bit ugly and one big lump if that makes sense. looks better with contrast. the black gloss one looks ok on white car. I guess my car suits the black and white look as it has the full M P kit.
