Winter Plans

Hey, just wondering what people were planning to do with winter prep with their cars in the GTA? I mean I detail on the side so I just prep by myself but just wondering what other people do and what products they plan on using.

Great product

I've been using it for a few years now and have found it lasts the entire winter as I notice the water still beads up even at the end of winter after the car has been through winter's worst (salt, dirt, any many gas station touchless car washes).

Really? Looks like a good find then. Is it just me or do you have to wipe it off really quick? I find it sticks almost like glue after initial application. It's spray a little bit then wipe almost right away.

This year to get out the swirl marks I've been using Menzerna FG400 and 4000 with Lake Country flat pads. At first I thought 'what difference can this over priced polish make?' Boy was I wrong. I can sand out a scratch with 2000 grit wet and fix the sandpaper with FG400 and a blue hydro tech pad. And I simply use a Porter XP.

Yes applying the Sonax net shield can be a little cumbersome at first, although I've learned to not use as much and I usually do half a panel at a time.

I use soft99 winter wax. But I detail on the side so I'm good just wondering what other people use or do.
