We have just installed the Eisenmann race exhaust to the M3. It is the rear muffler only not the full system. I wanted to listen to the tone for a while with just the muffler so i could give people an idea of what the LCI sounds like with just a muffler upgrade. We have done plenty of MPerformance and Akrapovic exhaust installs. I really am enjoying the tone even though it is still new and it will change as the exhaust carbonises up. The car only has 180kms on it so far. We also just installed the BMW MPerformance rear diffuser, front splitter and carbon Aprons, the kidney grills and side grills plus some wheel spacers.
We had this car on display at Brighton BMW for the MPerformance function they had on Monday night, This photo show the stance with the spacers and also the front Splitter and Apron. I will have more clearer pictures when the car comes back today. More updates soon. |

In these images you can see we have installed the MPerformance rear spoiler, rear diffuser, front splitter and apron. We had the lower section of the splitter painted in gloss black which suits the kidney grilles.

Are you aware if the exhaust mods & to what extent would affect warranty or does Akra / Eisenmann provide support if these is anything that pops up that BMW would then class as non-warranty due to the change in exhaust? |

I guess it depends on your preference for tone. We all have a different opinion as it is very personal. Some people love the Akra as it is so loud but if you live in a high rise and have under ground parking then the exhaust on cold start may be too much for you. I am enjoying the Eisenmann exhaust as it isn't to over the top but that is just a personal opinion. If you are concerned with warranty then i would advise anyone to contact the people who provide the warranty and understand the terms and conditions and also contact your insurer before doing any work.
