NoVA and HAS

This has been bothering me lately. I'm trying to prep my mod list but I'd like to know if it's worth getting the KW HAS for the M4.

Will I be scrapping all over the place or will I be fine. I'm trying to justify if it's worth the 700~800$. Don't get me wrong, I think it's sexy as fk with spacers on.

Any experience?

btw, I don't plan on getting front lips and I'm thinking about dropping it a reasonable height, probably 1" lower on both side.

You'll be fine with that drop.

Depending on how quickly you wanna do it...

I'm in Baltimore, had the HAS for several months now... I can shoot down one weekend.

Just not this weekend. Military commitment.

I have it at it lowest possible point front and rear.

Just last Saturday, moved it all to basically mid-point.

Any particular reason why you raised it back up?

Two main reasons.

Winter coming & I felt with how low it was it was too rough. It's my DD.

Also, at the same time I learned that you need to torque the sway bar end links while the suspension is under load.. I was getting a "hollow" sounding noise when hitting bumps.

This solved the noise.

Your welcome to drive the cars back to back... So you can see if it feels any different to you.

I'll tell you this.... I'd do it all over again.

It's nice to have the ability to adjust the height for the summer/winter in just a couple hours.

Is it very easy to adjust the height or will I need to take it to a shop for this? Would I have to get an alignment every time?

What's a recommended height for all-season?

Did you offer me to drive you car? I don't even have my car yet. I can't

1) yes it's easy, no shop needed. Just some basic tools and floor jack

2) drive my car, sure...... It's just a car.

3) when do you get your car, you should drive and see both back to back.

Dash Cam

So, if you wanna see any of that... I'm happy to meet up, prior too... If you're think about ordering anything ahead of time.

Ah, well I'm going to have to pass. Never driven a 6MT.

Which dash cam? I'm thinking about getting one myself, BlackVue DR650GW-2CH.

I suppose I will drive the car first hand when it arrives and see what it's like during winter (I got winter tires/wheels). If I feel like it's too low here, I'll stick with stocks.

Would it be strange to run spacers w/o springs?

I have Garman dash cam. Works perfect. Plus software is pretty sweet.

Spacers without lowering... Is totally fine. It'll still make a difference.

I have 15 front 12 rear.

I'm thinking of going 15/15 both sides.

Also, did you drive the car for awhile before installing that JB4? I'm thinking about getting JB Stage 1 but since this'll be my fastest car I think I should wait it out

fwiw, I don't plan on installing a DP, can't be hassled with emission.

Both personal calls.

I put JB4 on at 1,300 miles... At 13k now.

DP's...

I paid 240 for the install.

Maryland.... Every 2 years with emissions.

So, I'll just pay that every 2 years.

BUT... I know someone who passed with the DP's on in Maryland... I'll of course try that first.

The sound alone.... Is with it 10X's over.

Do you have your front license plate on? Do you know if they check for that at the emission test?

Thanks.

No I don't have it on.

No, they do not care at emissions. At all.

However, law is you have it.

Depends on the police you see most often really.

If not had one on any car for over 4 years...

Never pulled over yet.

I think the fine for not having the front plate is $ 70.00

I think you're right.

I remember getting a few on my Z06 in 2002-2003... I think it was $50 then.

Still worth it.
