340i pricing

Hi Guys
Can anyone tell me what monthly payment they are getting for a 2016 340xi. I am getting around $1000 for a 3 year lease with 16k per year km allowance. Car is fully loaded with 6 MT. Just want to see if this is a good price as I am thinking of trading my 2013 335i.

Thanks

the key to getting to a good price is what % discount you got off from MSRP and also by not paying those bogus fees. Other variables, such as interest rate and residual nobody has controlled of. Therefore, if you can get like 7% off and no bogus fees, then you did pretty good.

If you trading in your 13 335i, dealer will probably offer you between $28000 - $31000, depends on conditions.

If that's the dealer's 1st quotation offering, you can do better. Do watch out dealer will squeeze you back on the trade in. It is best to visit a bunch of bimmer dealers to see who will give you the most on the trade in first and then tackle on the new car discount.

I did this method on my last couple of bimmers swap. You would be very surprised the trade in valuation between the different bimmer dealers. The range gap of valuation could be in thousands of $.

At least the crappy exchange rate takes some sting out of the lower USD monthly payments we see around here, but mainly I think it's because the residuals are ridiculously high down there (about 5% higher than us). Combine that with the lower US dollar pricing, you get what seems like lower numbers.

But if you just look at MSRP, Canadians actually get a way better deal:

A Canadian 2016 340i xDrive's MSRP is $54,500 and comes standard with:
- M Sport Package
- Navigation
- 19" 403M wheels
- Heated seats and steering wheel
- Leather seat
None of which is standard on the US model.

A US 2016 340i xDrive specced to the same equipment level as the Canadian model will cost $55,550 USD = $71,700 CAD(!)

Yeah but leasing these vehicles are way cheaper in the states. I mean I only want Msport and Nav, maybe sensors/backup camera the rest is meh.
