I regretted not getting the HK system, I had it in my F80 and my F82 only had the standard HiFi system. This closes the gap and makes it sound better in some ways than the HK system.

For $1100 shipped, you get:

- Bimmertech PP82DSP amplifier, plug and play with the BMW wiring harness. Remove stock amp and plug this in and enjoy nearly 3x the power, with a tuneable parametric equalizer and time delay settings. ($799 + shipping new)

- BavSound Stage 1 - center, front midrange and tweeter and rear midranges. Sounds fantastic and brings out the detail, with a bunch more smoothness and volume. $500 and change + shipping new. (I never used the rears)

- Earthquake SWS-8xi 2ohm underseat woofers with BMW adaptors - drops right in and sounds fantastic. Much more pronounced bass. These will ONLY work with an aftermarket amplifier - the stock subs are 7ohm and you'll likely fry your stock amp using these. ($244 shipped from amazon)
