F32 Silver Halogen front Turn Sigs

Curious if there have been any additions to the market with regards to silver halogen front turn signals for the 4 series (not 3 series). I know BMW sells a set, but they look almost just as orange as the regular bulbs. I've contacted a number of vendors, i.e. Bimmian, and none of the reps at any of these places can answer my questions regarding whether or not they have them. It's as if the 4 series doesn't exist. Currently I'm using Weisslicht LEDs and they hyperflash (nobody in my area (( extreme northern CA)) to code out the cold/warm checks.).. I have been looking for a good set of halogen silver front turn signal bulbs for 14 months now, so it would be nice to close this chapter in my life

Im having the same issue too lol, ive been searching halogen bulbs that are not orange, actually im considering of getting Weisslicht LEDs since they claim they dont send out an error message, so does your 435 have an "lighting error" with the weisslict leds??

I have the Weisslicht LEDs. No errors. However, I believe you need to code out the warm and cold checks or else you will have momentary flickers. This is an issue with all LEDs. I've changed all my bulbs to LEDs and had to do this same coding for all of them. No big deal assuming you are already comfortable coding your car.

There is no error message, but if you don't code out the warm/cold checks the LED turn signals will periodically flash while you are driving..I also don't know how to code, but the stock orange bulbs bug me so bad that I'm willing to deal with the hyperflashing..

I bought my cable from here, with no issues. Yes, I just bought the shortest version they had. I know you can also buy the cable from ebay but I have no experience with that. enetcables.com is legit. They are based in norcal somewhere so you would get the cable quickly.

Just called and they are "out" of the halogen stealth bulbs for the 4 series, but I have checked that site hundreds of times and they have never had them in stock and one of the operators didn't even know what a 4 series was and kept asking If I meant 3 series. We require PY24W..

Well to be fair, that conversation was with a gal approx 1.5 years ago, so the 4 was still pretty new.. But with the 4 being out now since, what, October 2013? we should have many more options out there besides BMW's version of silver bulbs which still look orange. I think it's time to learn how to code as I don't have any (more) patience waiting for a stealth halogen for our cars.

I couldn't agree more with you. Also with the 4 series being a "new model line" for BMW some of the interior detail like the instrument cluster hasn't change much. For me i think they could have change it a bit like how Lexus did on their RC-Fs...simply stunning

Oh goodness!!! Why would you throw them away? I would have bought them off of you.
Was not aware of the different bulb size. Thanks for letting me know. Learn something new everyday.

Has anyone had any luck finding these bulbs? I don't want to deal with coding either. I am looking for a clear PY24W bulb for the front turn signals on my F36.

If you don't like the "egg yolk" look, lightly coat the bulb with several coats of silver spray paint. I took a piece of cardboard, cut 2 Xs in it to hold the bulbs up straight, and sprayed 2 light coats. The bulbs still blink amber, but are difficult to see through the lenses when off. This may seem cheesy, but it worked for me!

Doesn't seem cheesey at all. What spray paint did you use and how long did you let the bulbs dry?
