Winter car options?

I'm in the market for a winter car and not sure what to look for. I had an '09 STi, now that's dead and gone . It was a great car in the winter no doubt. I know that if I outfitted the M3 with the right set up, it would be fine in the winter, I'm just not interested in that. So...I'm looking for a used car, but something that could still be fun to drive. My options so far:
1. Jeep Wrangler (2000-2010?)
2. '82 Bronco w/80k miles
3. Looking through BMW CCA classifieds for older xdrives (3 or 5 series).

Is there another car/truck out there that would be a good (ie, reliable & fun) I should consider?
