Camber Plates Installation
For those who have their Ground Control camber plates installed on their m235, where did you go to do the install? How much are they charging?
Any recommendation on alignment besides West End? |

I've had mine installed/re-installed several times at a couple of shops. It's a 2 hour job if you're really quick about it, but none of my shops had any experience with the platform or the product, so times stretched way out (one shop took 4.5 hours and charged me for it :-( ).
Since that experience, I've been doing it myself. My first try with a friend's help took 5 hours. Now I can do the whole shebang in about 2.5 hours. This kind of spring compressor helps: http://www.ebay.com/itm/360846827647 My process:
I found torque specs scattered around the web, and torque for plate mounting bolts varies based on brand of camber plate. For the strut to knuckle bolt I used 60ftlb, for the sway bar end link nut I used 50ftlb. |
