Article about our Active Engine sounds...

Just found this Article / Rant from this 'AutoJournalist'...about the Active engine sound being synthesized through our speakers...

I dont mind the ranting - To each his own...But when he's relaying car specs in his article, he should really get the figures correct...

As much as I like my M235 I think the piped in sound is horrible. I would LOVE to eliminate it completely. I like engine and exhaust noises to be real.

pikachu did this for me and it was the the best coding thing I did. I realized I hated the Active Engine sound. Sounds great now with my M Performance exhaust.

You don't... you can use a virtual machine... google or search around for that, but if you find that complicated coding might also seem very complicated for you. might want to find someone local to do it for ya, for a beer or a burger.

coding it off? hmmm, I didn't think you could (I thought bmw only allowed coding to other vehicles)... but all in all I'll keep it... it is part of the sensation...

any other articles re ASD?
