October 17 & 18 - Slipstream is back at Pocono Raceway (Roll-Racing w/ MPH & ET)
Well its that time again, registration is now open. Some changes from past events, now the ECCO is a full-weekend, two day event.
https://www.facebook.com/events/1461259557507286/ • The Only Roll Event With MPH & ET • Side-by-Side Roll Races • Timed Start Speed of 60 MPH • True 1600ft Race Distance • Open-Format & Competition Racing • Return Route Printed Time Slips • Start Differential & MPH To Judge Fair Runs We’ve taken your input and revamped the racing format to maximize on-track time, minimize the impact of sandbagging, and meet the demand for the country's most advanced roll-racing event. Here is the tentative schedule for each day: MORNING • 9:00-10:30AM - Two run groups based on car number (1-40 & 41-80) • 10:30-12:00PM Open session free for all LUNCH • 12:00-13:00PM AFTERNOON • 13:00-14:30PM - Two run groups based on car number (Odds & Evens) • 14:30-15:30PM - Grudge Match Call Outs. We hand you the microphone, and you announce who you want to race. Any start speed. (Not counted towards competition) • 15:30-16:30PM - Based on earlier results, SSRE will use the data on hand for the to split racers into 4 class brackets, the top 4 in each bracket will compete Heads-Up for awards within their class (only fair runs within start speeds between 55-65MPH count towards bracketing and top 4 selection) • 16:30-18:00PM - The remainder of the day will be dedicated to open runs Based on the data obtained up through the Top 4 Shootout, SSRE will establish Class Breakout Criteria. Should a racer exceed this breakout criteria they will be moved into the appropriate class. This is another measure to address sandbagging. Spectators are welcomed on both days with the appropriate tickets. And racers will be able to spectate on their non-race day for no additional charge |

Scratch that, only 4 spots left for Day 1 (<750WHP).
Day 2 (>750WHP) is also filling up quickly with 37 cars currently between 900-1850WHP (the bulk being 1250-1500WHP). |
