Where was the quote Atemis, good it's being worked on or completed soon!

The finished article is likely to have me down the dealers with a CSL variant deposit!

Is that picture one you took or just one you got off the internet? Curious if someone at the dealership bought the car for themselves or if it was just coincidentally taken shortly after I returned it.

A random shot off the internet. I liked the F80 and the LRP M3 next to each other. The orange beauty has a special place in my heart and I keep looking at CPOs but the prices are so damn high

Without camo the M2 looks pretty cool, regardless the paint.

Mark my words: you'll recognize it straightaway when a pale blue dot grows bigger and bigger in your rear view mirror during its fast approach, with its wide stance and intake fangs giving you an intimidating look.

OT: I see where you're pointing at. Got a soft spot for AON. Random elements in the 80s stuffed into a Fairlight operated by J.J. Jeczalik, Anne Dudley pulling melodies out of it and Gary Langan engineering behind the mixing panels (the three never saw Trevor Horn and Paul Morley inside the studio). After being tired of making another version of the lush "Moments In Love" track, Langan proposed to Dudley and Jeczalik to simply play back a version of the track at half speed and let Dudley improvise on the piano. Crazy. But it ended up on record as the "Love Beat" version of "Moments In Love". The studio voice at the beginning is Langan at the mixing panel speaking to Dudley sitting behind the piano. That was 30 years ago and still sweet.

Let's hope that the M2 captures some of the 80s E30 M3 magic too.

BMW hasn't made an E30 M3 since the E30 M3 ended production. That car is gone and it'll never be back, regardless of what marketing or forums say

As an owner of an E30M3... I concur.... 2860 curb weight.... will take a ton of CFRP to get back to that these days..

There's weight to consider. And we're quite far away from recapturing the feel of the E30's steering with EPS. Then you'll have people bemoaning the lost of NA engines to turbos ect ect...

The E30 M3 was a very important chapter in BMW's history for sure, but that was the past unfortunately. I still haven't had a chance to drive one. Not sure I'll ever get to with the way prices are these days.

Aahhh. .. much,.... much..... better! Thanks for that.. never heard that version... Moments in Love was great... but totally over hyped and mixed with version after version.. .. as you mentioned... and that one is exceptional.

Pretty sure he also said he'd drop $70k on an M2 if it had an S55 motor, carbon fiber roof and fancier M4 seats.... but is not interested in the $50k car with 90% of the performance.
