If that is true we could see a U.S. MSRP right at or right under the $50k mark, which would be an exceptional deal.

bmw will probably announce something soon
since all the prototype cars are being spotted everywhere, and speculation on price just popped lets hope official details come out soon sit tight

Indeed M-Drivers Package includes the increase of the speed limiter to around 280 kph by software parameters and also includes a BMW M drivers training.

I spec'd an M235i with what I thought would be standard on the M2: 6 speed, premium pack., tech pack. Price came out right at $49k. I'm going to take a wild guess at the M2 price and say $53k.
