I press the phone icon on the steering wheel...
and phone dials the previously dialed number. This does not seem right.
In my previous '05 x3 this procedure would just open the phone book and I could scroll down to my desired number. Then press the the dial button {the face, in that car}. I would like the system to work this way. If it matters, I had the software update {CIP 20} and my phone is a Motorola Razr with Cingular. Any one have any insight? TIA |

it does that for me too, its really annoying especially when you click that to hang up, and it dials your last called number!

mine does that too. so i pulled out the bluetoof manual and it said if you "press and hold" the phone button, it brings up the phone menu. i haven't tried it yet, so i don't know if it works, but i've found the manual to be pretty accurate.

The phone buttons (on the steering wheel or on the radio) will dial the last number. Takes some getting used to. But, if you hold down the button, the phone menu comes up. Hit the up or down buttons on the steering wheel and the phone book from the phone comes up.
