Seeking advice on replacing driver side door handle

Anyone know how the interior driver side door handle assembly can be removed for replacement? I thought it would just pop out, but it seems to be locked in pretty good.

I was hoping to avoid taking the entire door apart...thoughts?

Unfortunately if you you want to replace the assembly you will need to take off the panels and all the trims to replace the door assembly. The part you want to replace is about 8" by 4" aprox. If the door handle is broken you don't have to do all this. Just look for an Allen screw on the side of the door, unscrew it and the key slot will come out. Them you can change the handle. Figure out what's broken before doing to door disassembly
