Got my Seibon hood installed yesterday, didn't reuse the hood struts though as they are supposedly too strong. Car also has RW Carbon mirror caps and front lip. Vmr v703 wheels lowered on h&r springs.

DONT BUY THE HOOD. SEIBON SUCKS AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS JUST AS BAD. The clear coat cracked, after 4 days. I contacted warranty and they claim it was from my slamming the hood shut. The crack is over 5 inches from the latch and I NEVER SLAMMED the $800 hood on the $50,000 car. It's despicable

That sucks man, exactly why I didn't buy a seibon hood for my 3 back when I was considering it.

Maybe try disputing the charge?

Problem with that is, I ordered through a shop who ordered through a distributor. If i chargeback the card, it will hurt the owner of the small shop. I've dealt with him for 5+ years so i can't screw him over. He has done everything in his power to help me, even had the distributor contact seibon. Seibon told them to pound sand in short words. My next step is a small claims case against Seibon. Being as we are on opposite coasts, and venue is my state. I think this is my best option, It's not about the money. It's the principal, stand behind what you sell. My attorney advised cost of defense is likely much greater than profit of the hood so they will settle. Sucks you've got to go to such extremes with such a large company.

I have literally just ordered the vented version - reading this has me a little concerned as I am paying nearly £1000 for it!

Will be getting it delivered direct from Seibion to the UK distributor and arriving on the 27th.
