DIY Request: Rear Diffuser
Looking for a detailed installation guide for a carbon fiber rear diffuser.
I have the challenge race version. Biggest question is how to line up and drill the holes for the 2 screws. I dont want to damage the CF. Any info or guides would be very helpful. Thanks! |

Line up the diffuser to how you want it to look and then secure with painters tape. Line up where you want the bolt holes to be and then drill some holes. Start small and then work your way up to the perfect size.
Once you're done doing that, peel the tape off the back of the diffuser and wrap up the install.

If you want nice round hole and the drill bit not to jump/walk on you when enlarging the hole, get something like this: http://www.amazon.com/IRWIN-10502ZR-...win+step+drill Put some masking tape on the carbon fiber that you are drilling, use light pressure and let the bit do the work. Works extremely well. Good luck.
