Wait list 1-3... What color M2 to order?

As I'm thinking that the Long Beach Blue Metallic is too much and the Black Sapphire Metallic & Mineral Gray Metallic are too little on the new sporty M2, I will probably be going with the Alpine White. What are your thoughts?

Yes. Excellent choice. That exterior color will highlight the M treatment with good contrast.

Get it in Alpine White and wrap it in your color of preference.

I was hoping for Donington, I love gray M cars. Mineral is darker than I prefer but that's my first choice now...or I may hold off and see if any new colors are added for round 2.

I think I'm going Alpine White now also.

I am probably going Mineral Gray. I already had an Alpine White 135i so I want to change it up a bit.

I am thinking a wrap too, so I might get it in Black Sapphire Metallic and it would look less awkward when I pop the hood lol

I saw Long Beach Blue Metallic on an X6 M, shot outside on a morning TV news show, today. Looked great! I'm more confused than ever.

For those on the fence for AW, BSM or MG: remember that the M2 brake calipers and M2 interior stitching will be blue.

I really don't think you could go wrong with any of them. To be perfectly honest, I'd be happy with any of them apart from black. I'm sure it'll look great, but I don't have the time and the patience to maintain a black car.

Almost certainly Mineral Gray for me.

It's a bit understated, which I like, but also not as boring as most silver/gray colors. In the sunlight, it varies between silver and almost black, depending on the angle at which the light hits it – very similar to Audi's Daytona Gray. On the practical side, it's also easier to maintain than black or white.

It doesn't necessarily look very sporty and also not very "in your face", so if that's what you're after, LBB or even just plain AW is probably a better choice.

I do think LBB will look amazing on the M2 though... Recently BMW is discovering the world of bright blues (YMB, for ex)

Nice picture of Long Beach Blue. I am leaning in that direction, today. I think the Leipzig plant will be mixing a lot of LBB paint, once the M2 is released.

LBB or AW for me. Need to see LLB in person on a M series SUV to be sure I am comfortable with it. LLB seems to change dramatically with the light conditions. In some photos I love it, others I dislike it. Had many white cars, due for a change, so really want to like LLB. AW will look great for sure on the M2 but so many cars on the road now in white. Nice to be a bit different. MG is ok, but too dark, prefer space grey, donnington. Dislike black cars.
