RW carbon buyers?
Hey all,
Looking to kit the F32 out but wondering if any of you have had experience with RW carbon parts vs OEM. I am considering the front splitter, spoiler and rear diffuser. I cant seem to find too many forum images. Would love to see either the m performance rep or their "3d" design one. *I dont understand why this is less credible of a general post versus other parts based threads. Moving threads like these prevent anyone from ever seeing or responding. |

Good question. I'd be interested in a rear spoiler for my GC. I see them for the coupe', but not the GC..........

* My GC is the MG/CR. I've received positive comments since I had it installed. My GC was the 1st to have the RW/CARBON rear spoiler installed. Good luck.

thanks for the info. Did you install it or have it done? (I see it's just double-sided 3M tape).......

I was hoping to see how their replica of the m performance spoiler compared. Some knock offs have the lip going way high n I ideally wanted it just like oem

I have the 3D version from RW CARBON, I was told that the reason RW decided for this version is that the M Performance is too flat for the hatch of the GC. It seems that BMW is not going to make a spoiler for the GC, its going to be a year since its release and that that many OEM M Performance parts have been made. Do you know if the 6 series GC has an M Performance Spoiler? I have seen one yet.

im more particularly concerned about the rear lip spoiler i guess as i've seen replicas look way off. does anyone have comparisons of OEM vs this in pictures?
Also,do you guys offer your parts in non carbon? |

I've asked prior to getting the Spoiler from RW and no part has been made. some forum members tried to install the spoiler from the F-32 but it did not fit.

We do with some of our trunk spoilers and lips like the F30 performance ones but not the F32 versions.

A word of advice, I bought the F32 Trunk Spoiler and took it to 2 different performance shops in my area and they told me fitment isn't spot on. The way the spoiler is contoured with the trunk it lifts on the edges. Just goes to show that even though the spoiler itself is beautiful that fitment isn't always 100% which should be expected.
As of now its on the car but it does look like it's slowly lifting on the edges. I can take some pictures. Please keep in mind that I'm in no way bashing RW Carbon because they provided me with excellent customer service and shipping is fast but just goes to show that with any after market part fitment may not always be 100% compared to OEM

Thanks thats much appreciated as that and the overall shape was my exact concern with the spoiler. The other parts can get away with it but i worried the spoiler would either look too high or lift.

The quality is very good and too be honest I have never fitted an original one so it may be exactly the same. Could do with a couple of clamps on those sections when fitting but it's a very difficult position to clamp. Last edited by ajfoggy; 06-12-2015 at 04:43 PM.. |

It does look a little high when you first fit it but once the initial thoughts sink in you'll find you love it.
