M3 rep or m tech bumper- best place to buy?
Where is the best place to get an m3 rep or m tech bumper? **********s, jgmods? Others?
I've read that I'll need other parts besides the bumper? Is this true?

eBay would probably be the cheapest option. I don't think anything else is needed for the front bumper. The rear you might need some additional items.

There are some reputable ebay vendors selling 3M-rep front bumpers for under $300 shipped. I'm planning to go with one of those soon. Search the forum and you can find the names and see if they have any current auctions.

Search for parkhurstmotorsport, they're vendors over here. Sells the bumper $600 painted/shipped!

I believe the seller is located in AZ, so pickup might not be possible for us. But most Ebay sellers who sell reps are located in El Monte area, try calling them to see if pickup is possible which might give you lower price excluding the shipping cost.

Wow, that is a GREAT deal if it's good quality paint! I think it would cost that much just to prep/paint a bumper that I buy elsewhere.

I bought this one recently:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-08-E90-...item3f3a559d35 Body shop said quality was close to OEM. Needed these too -> http://www.ebay.com/itm/351297238789...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I didn't see the bumper before the install. It was dropped shipped to the shop where they painted and installed it.

I would advise against preprinted products.
It's ok for a spoiler or something but a bumper that mismatches is a whole lot more noticeable than a spoiler that is off. I'd have a body shop do the work. As far as M3 vs Msport that's tough. I think I would personally go msport because I already have a lot of M3 stuff I don't want to come off like I'm trying to be one. |

I've bought from an eBay seller, "selmausa" and from what I gather, the M3 Style front/rear bumpers and side skirts are gtg. I took it to my body guy to get his opinion and he was pleased with it. The parts are manufactured in Taiwan and some people have reservations about getting stuff from there, which I totally understand, but the stuff selmausa sells ain't junk. Here's a link if you're curious: selmausa - Selma Auto Restyle. GOOD LUCK!

I got annoyed with ebay selling pretty much scrap bumpers for silly money so I did it the old fashioned way and picked up the phone and googled bmw breakers, BMW Spares, Bridgend breakers, have just sent me one, in mint condition, in the right colour for £140+VAT (no idea what I actually payed, £160 maybe), they had tonnes there, and some new parts.
