Am I a douche?

One guy on IG calling me out. I don't use FB or Twitter but IG has my build pics up since it's quick and easier to use on a daily basis. Sponsors like to see progress and this way it's there and I don't have to email them every time I do something.

Anyways, stay humble and move forward and good things will happen. I've worked hard for what I have and have seen the struggles of poverty and that's a place I do not want myself or my children to go into that dark place.

One of my pet peeves is when folks who don't know much about cars judge your character by what you drive. They also clearly don't understand how depreciation works when half the time, a couple year old BMW/Merc/Audi costs less than their new Camry. I suppose being humble is the key to whether or not you come across as pretentious or a douche. That being said, this make me miss our X5.

Some people are proud of being a douche so it might just be a compliment for me to call you one....so I will bite my tongue and call you every other demeaning word in the English language(I kid I kid)....ugh can't even do that as I get no satisfaction from verbal beatings as I prefer to live and let live and can judge no man as I have yet to walk in his shoes(if you went through his/her experiences you might be the same piece if sh!t he/she is)

It's timely how this subject comes up.

I've paid my dues for many years being a community leader, coached kids soccer, supported charities. But never, did I ever thought of being known as pretentious until recently. I guess it's all those years of driving an old beat up POS, that driving this Beamer took people by surprise.
I am the same guy that drove that old POS, and I continue to do good deeds for the community and just because I'm fulfilling my childhood dream does not make me a douche nor should people automatically assume all drivers of BMW's are.
