Have you consulted with your local owners manual?
Anywho: https://wiki.bentleypublishers.com/d...90+E91+E92+E93

This is the symbol of the length enhancement module (LEM) active. Please check your trunk to see if badge has changed from 3 to 5 or 7 (if car remained in the condition for too long). |

I believe I read somewhere that if your car is in gear and the E-brake is on and your not moving or have opened the door you will get this warning light.

OP- it's important to note that early model pre-LCI's came equipped with a more failure prone LEM (much like we see with the HPFP, WG's, etc). So your trunk may still show the 3 series badging while the body converted to a 5 or 7 series (it's unlikely but I've seen a few rare cases where they've converted to Z models in the early model pre-LCI's). I would recommend either purchasing a WTF-cable to code it out yourself or bring it into the dealership to have that inspected. I just had mine fixed and they also changed the turn signal fluid at the same time. GL!
