Dark blue car with dark wheels (pics)

I got my first aftermarket rims this spring. There aren't many Monaco blue 335i with aftermarket wheels on the internet, I was pretty nervous when I was buying these online. Luckily, they look pretty cool on my car.

What do you guys think?

Rims:
Avant Garde M310 FB 5X120 18X8 +35(Front) M310 FB 5X120 18X9 +38(Back) Dolphin grey color

Tires: 225 front, 265 back.

They look pretty good but I think for the monaco blue a silver set of rims compliment the car the best, especially with the lighter interior like yours.

Yup, that was what my friends said. I almost bought the silver set.
However, I wanted something that looks aggressive, so I got the grey set.

That's how I was when I bought my winter set of wheels, I was going to get a darker set but wanted to keep the clean non aggressive look and went with silver.

Wheels look great, and they'll help your E93 stand out better than if you'd gone with silver. Enjoy!

Damn you can't even tell that it looks dark blue.. it looks more like dark grey or light black. Nice car though!

Exactly. Just blends in and hides the car. Can't see the wheels and dulls the paint

Hello fellow vert tri-state area brother!

Yeah definitely silver with a Monaco blue color, but what's done is done.

There is always powder coating, however

Next on the list should be an M sport front and rear my friend, and perhaps some side skirts too... along with blacking out that window trim- since you seem to be going for an aggressive look.

I think polished and gold are the best look on a dark car, that's just me.

Not bad at all. You chose a good color. You balanced well between a darker color and "I haven't washed my wheels in 8 months," which is a difficult line to walk.

I've been contemplating going a good gunmetal with my wheels. I love OEM silver, it does complement many colors very well, but it's just a little too bright for a dark colored vehicle in my opinion.

I'd suggest some tints, black out the window trim, and maybe some black exhaust tips. Would really complete the look. Good wheel choice!
