So, had an issue last week where the timing chain snapped on my 2007 pre-lci e90 n47 318d, been struggling to source a new engine but found a 2010 LCI n47 engine was the LCi strictly cosmetic changes or will this engine not fit in my 318d?

I'm not sure why it would not fit. You can fit anything into anything. Aren't those timing chains a common problem for those diesels?

Yeah it's a common fault on the n47 engine

Just need to know if any of the fitment a are different before I purchase one because im having a hard time finding a pre lci engine
