That is the secret way. When I first did my brakes took me 2 hours for one clip then all of a sudden I got it in. Once you get the one in you kind of realize what you did on the first one to do the second. Just take your time and think and you'll eventually get it.

Use a screwdriver, use some leverage, you'll get it. First time I did it it took me a good 10-15 minutes to put the clip back in.

+1 on the screw driver, and all the posts above
I mentally think about it like a bow (of arrow and bow), which makes it easier. You place the ends of the clip on where they should be. Place a screw driver between the rotor hub hat and the center part of the clip. Using the leverage with the screw driver compress the "bow" on the center, it will just pop into its place. |
