what brake discs for 335iS?

Hi, my 335is is due new front brakes in 12000km but my front discs are already wrecked, with being in Europe the BMW dealership already had trouble getting the rear brake pads, the 335i ones weren't an exact match so after a day of them calling Munich to find the problem they ended up getting the pads shipped to Germany from BMW USA. So getting back to the point, I was thinking of putting different discs on the front but I'm not sure which ones to take (part nr. and performance wise), are the front discs the same as the 335i discs?

If you're only looking for improved braking performance, spend your money on aggressive pads and find some cheap rotors on ebay. But if you're going for looks, consider slotted and/or drilled rotors. I have a set of slotted and dimpled rotors from R1 concepts on my car and they look fantastic with the 5-spoke wheels. I'm running StopTech brake pads and they are OK. Wish I would have gone with something like a Performance Friction pad.

Yeah, I contacted R1 too for my pads/rotors. I got front/backs, pads and sensors for a great price from them.

I got drilled and slotted rotors to replace OEM rotors. Turned out ok with painted calipers

OP, as you stated in your post, you need to make sure the 335is is not a different size rotor & pads than the 335i (most likely the same). You might try Turner Motorsports as they can provide the facts and carry a good product line including their own. I am not associated with turner - but they have provided me sound advice on my brake and suspension setups for track days on my M5 that have paid off. They will set you straight and will be competitive, but I always shop around for the best prices on quality products.

I'd stick with OEM. I've got almost 90K miles on my original rotors and pads.

Get centric rotors from Tirerack or you can get slotted rotors too, depending what you believe. I also recommend hawk pads if you go with centric rotors.
