Actually surprised they printed it on paper.

Having thought of it, an excellent marketting thing, would have been to put the manual on an Ipad / tablet given 'free' with the car.

I would say the whole book is accessible through the idrive?
That would be the "posh" copy, the recycled paper one is almost a sales ploy,

Reading through this forum over the years, most don't even read the manual. So most would not notice if a manual was even included rather than what quality paper was used.

They would be too busy posting about their wing mirror not dipping when selecting reverse.

The idrive will have an online version to browse. Again, probably skipped over by most.

You can spot the "too cool to read manuals" questions a mile off.

I havent noticed the recyclable paper in my dads, it's just the lack of leather wallet to put it in that pisses me off!

I used to be the corporate account manager for BMW's print partner globally, and you're lucky you have it printed.

It's only a Toyota Prius with a Bmw badge anyway...
