///M side stickers for M235i

Hi everyone,

I have been looking at stock photos and it appears that some cars come without the "///M" sticker on the side.

Is this something that they are changing depending on the market like the slat in the front grill?

Do any US models come with these? Is this a 2015 thing in reaction to all the reviews pointing out the 15+ places it is used?

Only the 2014s came with them.

The side stickers do not come on the 2015 year models.

NEUE02: did get the exact position (measurement top/side) as on the MY2014 when you installed it on your MY2015?

Yes. I used a 2014 as a template.

I cant give you any measurements right now or tomorrow (will be at the NYIAS tomorrow, they have anything special for BMW owners?) but this is a photo of where they came on my 2014 showing the whole fender, might be of some help for now.

I'll try and see if I can get some exact measurements or a template somehow if you would like when I have the time (should be able to Thursday).

Also I'm not sure if they still have the same problem, but people were having trouble at their dealerships finding the right part number for them. M Performance emblems are actually a dark chrome finish. I believe they were able to find the right ones listed under the X5 M50d or M550D.

Mines is 2015 Europe versión and have the M side logos, but you can remove from order Factory if you install some special adition ( harman / kardon, sunroof, electric seats, etc) but if you buy it with standart equipment, they come with ///M side logos.

I ordered from my local dealer. Don't try to order fakes off ebay. They are not the right size or color. With BMW club discount they were around $20 each. The dealer simply looked up the number from a '14 car, ordered them and they arrived in two days. I didn't keep the invoice so don't know what part numbers they were. It's no big deal, just tell the parts guy what you want.

I ordered the emblems from Brian at Sun Motors. List price is $29.67 each. Brian sells them for $24.50 each. Part number 51-14-8-058-882.

I have a Canadian '15 and it has the stickers. It was one of the first '15 x-drives ordered if that makes any difference.

So no one with a 2014 or non-US 2015 M235 can take measurements from the edge of the fender to the edge of the emblem, and the bottom of the rocker panel to the bottom of the emblem?

On my U.K spec M235i the measurements are exactly 15" from the bottom of the panel to the bottom of the badge and 1.75 inches from the line of the wing panel to the first part of the badge.
