Not particularly from wind, but had road stones and twigs get between the disc and back plate.
A road stone can make the most horrid noise. Need to pull in, get in reverse and hope it drops back out as easy as it got in. Last visit to the garage, I arrived with a growling/rubbing noise from the rear O/S wheel. At least once on the ramp the tech could see a large twig jammed in there, one I'd picked up on the stormy drive down to the garage. Few weeks back had a rubbing sound from the N/S front, same thing, a twig picked up from road debris after a stormy night. Had to take the wheel off to get that one out, as it was impossible to get at. HighlandPete |

I did the reverse and go forwards thing a few times while turning the wheels and it eventually came out. |
