Do 17s fit on a 330d?

Do 17inch alloys fit on a 330d?

Or would it look too odd being so small.

Has anyone got pics of 17s on their F30

For better acceleration or just as an aesthetic mod?

If the latter, why?

I have a 330d m sport and use 225 50 r17s as winter wheels. They fit fine but don't look as impressive as the standard 18s. The 17s don't grip as well either.

The sport trim line has 17s as standard which I think look good so maybe in depends on the style of wheel.

Just to add that if you have m sport plus upgraded brakes the 17s won't fit.

Depends on whether you have M Performance brake set as included with the M Sport Plus package. If so I believe 18's are as small as you can go.

Going to BMW's site and building a car, the 330d SE has 17" rims as standard.
As others have stated, the M Sport brakes (if fitted) mean a minimum of 18" wheels though.
Edit : probably the best way to see what they'd look like too.
In my opinion, they look a bit small. 18s look a lot better.

Thanks for the pic!!

I wonder what 17s on mine would look like since my car is so low. I guess i could fill the arches by just going lower. Plus the wheels i have been looking at are around 9.5j/10j on the rear with a aggressive offset

Why do you feel they will be small? They are the same diameter as any other wheel combination, just that you have more rubber and less rim.

Your wheel arch gap will be the same, at your current ride height.

I wanted more rim than rubber. I have 18s on atm i would prefer not to go any smaller if possible lol
