budds bmw. It's going to be expensive ... given our Cdn $ and Budds charges a flat fee for installation
Maybe wait for a spring Dinan sale .. usually being held 2x a year |

Compare similar tunes - <$500 to $1000 and non-pro and first-time install < 1hrs |

I did dinan on my e60, i think it was $350 flat and no fees for future reflash (in case yor car was updated with factory software when doing maintenance)

I think there's one other place that carries Dinan in Ontario but it's some smaller independent shop--can't remember the name off hand.
They said 2hrs labour just on the safe side since each tune is specific to the VIN.... The cost for the Dinan N20/N26 tune is roughly $1500USD then there's the harness and labour costs... It's not cheap for sure, but this seems like the most refined tune that's also backed by warranty....still on the fence tho myself... Hope this helps |

if you watch the videos and read the review the Dinan has more areas it monitors compared to the $500US tune. It also has much higher quality wires/cables and the dealer install is clean. Add in the warrantee and it's a premium product.

I personally don't feel comfortable putting something into my new vehicle that could wreck the warranty. The fact a dealership is doing the install for me is a huge plus and they were very adamant that I don't need to worry about any Warranty issues.

^ true to certain extent.
If something does go wrong, there will be a gap of time as to who is going to give you the warranty .. BMW or Dinan ... while the dispute goes on. |
