ANyone know how to correctly move driver side air vent?
Long story short, I pretty much had an extremely lucky day. Driving though the city in traffic, I had my driver side open literally 1"-2" maximum. Well...next thing I knew a damn bird decides to shit and literally every f*$king drop landed inside my car. All over the headlight toggle and in my driver side air vent!!! Needless to say I'm pissed and I'm probably the most meticulous person on the planet about keeping my car neat. I managed to get mostly everything off but obviously can't fit my hand inside the vent slats. Anyone know a way the easily and safely remove the slats just so I can clean inside the vent?
P.S. Mods, I wasn't sure if this belonged in the general or DIY section so I apologize if this is the wrong section. |

Most of the auto stores sell brushes for cleaning in between your air vents. I would recommend putting a damp swifter duster around one of these or just a thin dowel and this should clean it.

Since the title said "move" the air vent I wasn't sure what to expect, I'm thinking "does he actually not know how to adjust the air vent!?!"
LOL
